Silvia Lospennato closed her campaign and stated that she "wouldn't give up" "not even if I was crazy."

In an indoor stadium packed with yellow supporters,Silvia Lospennato , the PRO candidate for Buenos Aires legislator, led the closing ceremony of the party's campaign shortly before the Buenos Aires elections . In her message, she emphasized her commitment to a "complicated" and "unclean" campaign, assuring that she would "not give up, not even if she was crazy." She was accompanied by former President Mauricio Macri and the Mayor of Buenos Aires, Jorge Macri , who reinforced the call for party unity and harshly criticized her main contenders, Leandro Santoro and Manuel Adorni .

In his speech, Lospennato emphasized that the city's issues will not be defined by national figures like Macri, Cristina Kirchner, or Javier Milei, but by the local candidates themselves. Addressing the libertarians, he stated that "the city is not a battlefield for a war between politicians nor a trophy to be displayed."

In this regard, she maintained that the PRO offers "renewal with values" in the face of those who consider the yellow party obsolete. Silvia Lospennato was the last to speak after a dozen speeches by key PRO figures, including María Eugenia Vidal, Fernán Quirós, and other candidates for the Legislature.

Former President Mauricio Macri played a prominent role at the event, celebrating the PRO's unity after overcoming "the damaging internal conflict of 2023." He also took aim at Patricia Bullrich and Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, who, he said, were driven by "ego and excessive ambition" by moving to other political parties or founding their own after their defeat in the 2023 presidential elections.

On a more optimistic note, Macri praised Silvia Lospennato and recalled that "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger," alluding to the challenges the candidate faced. In fact, the former president himself revealed that his candidate wanted to withdraw from the election due to the rejection of the Clean Record, but he convinced her to continue leading the campaign.

Jorge Macri, for his part, emphasized the importance of preserving the PRO's management model in the city and lashed out at his main adversaries: "We don't deserve to be thrown into the void by Kirchnerism or a chainsaw that wants to take everything with it," referring to Santoro and Milei. He also promised to eradicate "rag-pickers" as a symbol of public order if Lospennato reaches the Legislature.
